The Giving FAQ

Why Give?

Alright, so why would anyone donate? Why not just take it and go? The simple answer is because you understand how much time I put into my free articles and projects, and/or you know what I stand for and want to support that. I’ve spent over one hundred hours on my projects and articles, and am glad to do it. If this has saved you time, and therefore money, I humbly ask you to give so I may pay it forward.

Is it tax deductible?

Yes it is! All donations go to my organization, IntegriDesign, Inc. When I set up my business, I knew a lot of what I’d be doing is free or severely reduced in price, and therefore understood I’d be relying on the generosity of donations. As such, I wanted to make sure I could give back to those who give so generously at tax time and set up my business to legally accomplish this.

Who gives?

I receive donations from people, churches, corporations, and I’m extremely grateful to everyone that gives. Please understand, I don’t receive regular donations from anyone, but rely faithfully on the giving of those currently being blessed by my work. If that’s you, thank you!

Who is IntegriDesign, Inc.?

IntegriDesign, Inc. is the business entity I use to organize my work, missions, etc. I understand people are more comfortable giving to a business with a plan and budget.

On the work front, I do freelance design and development for young businesses and non-profits. If someone wants to start a business but aren’t technologically savvy, it’s my pleasure to come alongside them and get them business cards, a website, and whatever else they need to get going and not be held back by technology in such a technological world. I’ve developed software for non-profit organizations, and stepped in as a consultant. I understand how to accomplish tasks for very cheap, so I’m glad to share my knowledge and help good causes get what they need for as little as possible.

Where does the money go?

All the money I possess goes into my passions: helping the less fortunate and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’ve had the privilege of traveling to many places around the world, and the level of destitution in many places breaks my heart. I’ve personally witnessed human trafficking, emaciation, deep disorientation, etc. and just can’t do nothing about it.

How I accomplish this, I pray and work to grow, but presently I believe that there are already such an incredible amount of people out there giving their lives to serve a needy people. What I find is that these servants themselves become tired, weary, and needy: physically, emotionally, financially, etc. As such, I like to support them in every way I can. I’m glad to give donations to those who need it (not always money, but sometimes supplies), and travel to the areas when I can to come alongside the servants for a time and serve them. My goal is to refresh them and their community by the time I go, and see how I can network with them to send them more help in the future as they need it.
